The Kríky Military Museum is the most modern military museum in the Czech Republic.
The exhibition hall with an area of 2,400 m2 presents a cross-section of the history of the Czechoslovak and Czech army, its allies and enemies in 1938, Czechoslovak fortifications, World War II, the history of the resistance and occupation, military personalities and the issue of national defence. An outdoor shelter (700 m2) for large exhibits is adjacent to the hall.
In the expositions of the museum one can meet heavy combat and military equipment, ammunition, means of protection against combat poisoning agents and weapons of mass destruction, materials about personalities (life stories of important men - soldiers: army general Ludvík Krejčí, brigadier general Bohuslav Fiala, division general Karel Husárek); equipment and infantry armament. Part of the museum is a demonstration polygon (40,000 m2) - designed for demonstrations of combat and heavy military equipment in motion and action.
